About a week ago we had to say good-bye to Little Buddy. We had known since October of last year that he was in kidney failure. For a long time, he was doing very well, eating and moving around as usual. Gradually he lost strength in his hind legs and wasn't as steady on his feet as before. Since he was a radial hypoplasia kitty, this meant he needed to be held up to eat and to drink water at times, and just needed extra care all around. He lost more strength and went downhill and the time came when we had to say goodbye. He would have been nineteen years old next month. During most of his years he was active, more so than many other cats we've had, climbing and chasing. He always found a way to go wherever he wanted to, never letting his differing abilities hold him back. He was the bravest little cat I've ever known.

He looks like a sweetheart.  May he run happy and free at the Rainbow Bridge but I know how much you will miss him.  I know it doesn't help but you were lucky to have him for such a long time though it's never enough.

Oh, Catwoods, I'm so sorry.  When they've been with you a long time, it is so hard.  When they are too young, it is so hard.  I guess it is always so hard to say goodbye.

I think your brave Little Buddy is leading some adventures now, with our Bridge angels.

I wish you comfort in happy memories of him.

Even though you had him such a long time, and I know he had a wonderful life, it is so hard to say good-bye.
RIP sweet little angel man

Cry So sorry that Little Buddy's time came to leave your home, catwoods.  Cry I know that even though he was 19, his life on earth was not long enough. I think that if they lived to be 100, that still would not be long enough.

Run free Little Buddy while you wait for those who loved you to join you at the Bridge.

So sorry to hear it was Little Buddy's time to go.  Cry I can see what a sweet boy he was from his picture. 19 years sounds like a long time but it sure seems to go by in the blink of an eye.

I'm sorry you lost your Buddy boy, catwoods.  He sounds like a very amazing little guy, and it's so wonderful he had 19 years (& that you gave him those 19 years) despite his health issues.  Rest in peace Little Buddy.
