Ned, although Thunder is no longer physically here, her spirit is with you forever.
Your's is a bond that is heartwarming.
That bond can never be broken.
Ned my friend, the passage of time will heal your heart and bring you peace.

In the rising of the sun and its going down, We remember her.
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, We remember her.
In the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring. We remember her.
In the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer, We remember her.
In the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn. We remember her.
In the beginning of the year and when it ends, We remember her.
When we are weary and in need of strength, We remember her.
When we are lost and sick of heart, We remember her.
When we have joys and special celebrations we yearn to share, We remember her.
Sp long as we live, she too shall live, for she is part of us. We remember her.

I made a memorial video: http://frillydress.blogspot.com/I still find myself looking at the clock to see if it's time for her medicine and checking her favorite spot expecting she'll still be there.

Ned that was a beautiful memorial. I think sometimes the hardest part of losing them after a long illness is the sudden change. Your whole day and night revolve around meds, fluids, feedings and litter trips and then not only are they gone, but your whole routine is changed. It just makes you cry every time you start to jump up to do something for them. Hugs.

Ned, that tribute video is wonderful. I didn't know you'd had her since she was just a tiny kitten. It must be like not remembering life without her. I know exactly what you mean about the meds. Time is told by those medications and when you don't have to do it anymore, you don't even know what time it is. My heart is just breaking for you. I so hope there are people around that can help comfort you right now.
