Yes you need to add taurine. I've frozen prepared food with oatmeal, but never oatmeal alone. Don't forget oatmeal makes it harder to digest calcium,so when using it up the calcium slightly. maybe 1/2 tsp per lb of meat instead of 1/3 tsp of ground eggshell.I have frozen cooked rice & mashed sweet potatos with no problem so I assume oatmeal can be frozen too. The rice tends to be drier after freezing maybe make the oatmeal a little wetter than normal.

The NuCAt vitamins have Taurine in them, but unless you're going to give them 4 a day, you will need to add Taurine to your food. I get BlueBonnet taurine (500 mg capsules) shipped from iHerb.com.

If you're still giving the Friskies every day for at least one meal, I'd give them 2 a day. If you'll be doing home-cooked, you will have to either give them 4 a day to get all the other nutrients in or you can pulverize them and add them to each portion of food when you put it in their dishes (assuming they each have their own plate). I wouldn't mix it into the entire recipe because it would be hard to tell who got how much of it.

Thats a good idea to rotate Friskies & Homecooked Same Day & 2 Vitamin. Yes, they do have own plates, and this is another excellent idea mix when serving food makes more sense.  Smiley TY Bug  Wink AngelKatyMa3  Kiss

You might want to give those vits a shot on their own first. Mine like them and think they're treats. Good luck with all of this!
