cat allergy diet


2 cups brown rice
2 pounds (4 cups) raw lamb
1 tablespoon group 1 bone meal
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cod liver oil
10 days dose of a complete vitamin-mineral supplement formulated for cats, made without yeast
vitamin c in the form of sodium ascorbate powder
(500 milligrams daily)

the problem with the Pitcain's book is that this material is 25 years old -- badly out of date --

It has now been shown that cats should NOT be eating grains -- rice, soy, corn -- No!

They are STRICT obligate carnivores...they are not  small dogs....they need MEAT ONLY not cereal.

I know Pitcairn was considered good when it came out, but this is badly outdated information.

See Anne's recipe at www.catnutrition.org -- she is a nutritionist and did a lot of research to come up with that formulation so we can all be feeding our kitties correctly...
