Can I feed my cats leftover fish if I cooked it plain? (making sure there aren't bones)

Tonight I have mahi mahi (wild). I gave a little to my cat and he scarfed it. I wasn't sure if cats can eat any fish. I know salmon and tuna...but mahi mahi? cod?

I know not to feed them a lot of fish, but every now and then?

I have given my cats a little plain cooked cod from time to time, also have added a little to batches of home-made cat food a few times.  They love it and it has never appeared to harm them in any way.  There is also a Bravo freeze-dried treat that is cod, and I've seen other cat treats that are mahi-mahi.  I think some of the labels that say "ocean fish" on cat food probably include cod.

Cool, thanks! I'll cook my fish plain, and give them a little. Thank you!
