Womanradio.org

You can send them your story ideas for the March 16, 2008 pet food recall anniversary.

Saturday March 16th is the anniversary of last year's major tainted pet food recall. Why is this a women's issue? In the 40 billion dollar US pet industry the average consumer is a 40 year old woman. They bought the food that killed or permanently injured thousands of companion animals. On PETitionz.org, 94% of the more than 167,000 visitors are women. Plus many women viewed the dead pets as canaries in the global coal mine: a warning that our children could be the next sacrifice.

The day will open with a song for the companion animals lost "Make a Change" written by well known composer and lyricist Yohanna Venderkley. There will be an interview with the lawyer involved with the first law suits versus Menu Foods, pet owners one year later, pet food testing labs and people working to restore trust in the food system.

Sandi, I think by going here.:

http://www.womenlikeme.net/

I can access the radio station on web with Windows Media player from that cite when it's on air. Pet program to air
between 11 and 12 in the morning Toronto time on the 16th. But there's some confusion on the cite web address because they
got hacked on first day of operation.

So if one above does not work, try:
http://www.womanradio.org/

Also, I think based on Google, that Toronto is on same time as U.S. Eastern Time Zone, but need serious help from Canadians!

Hey, Trudy, you can get it on the web at www.womanradio.org. Don Earl has now posted this:

Web radio station http://www.womanradio.org will present special
programming for the first anniversary of the initial pet food recall of
2007. It will begin at 2 p.m. EDT with Make a Change a song for the
friends lost by Karen Phillips and Yohanna Vanderkley of Webbils and
Song.

Then Don Earl will tell the story of the killing of his cat Chuckles and
his determined quest for justice over the past year.

Lawyer Ted Charney of Toronto Canada will outline class action lawsuits
versus Menu Foods.

Elliott Haplem  Executive Producer of Pet Food: A Dog's Breakfast will
discuss the making of the documentary.

Dr. Ernest Lykissa co-owner of Expertox Laboratories will look back at
an interesting year at the lab.

Ron Smith creator of PETitionz.org will comment on the reactions of site
visitors from 143 countries to events as they unfolded following that
first recall.

You just have to have Windows Media Player, Real Player or some other audio
player on your computer. Then I believe it's the Eastern Time Zone in the U.S.,
so 2 pm would be 11 am Pacific Time.

That's how I got in.

In fact, you are talking again right now.  You did great!  Did you really not know who Jimmy Stewart is?  It was a good comparison.  (And a high compliment.)

I just checked the womanradio.org site and they have bypassed the login now and that looks like the one to use now.  Saw this there"

"The legendary Don Earl will tell the story of the killing of his cat Chuckles and his determined quest for justice over the past year."

How do you like that!

Sandi,

It looks like they are playing in a continuous loop to me.  The tricky thing is that the show needs to load awhile before it starts playing and appears to be doing nothing while it is.

So just go to the site, find the little radio control on right side of page, click the play button a couple of times and do something else for awhile and it should start up.

The Expertox man says that the one food processor/manufacturer (for human and animal) that he has found to have never had a problem is.... Purina!

Food for thought.

Unless I heard wrong  Grin

I'm listening. The acetaminophen part is freaking me out. Expertox postulated that acetaminophen is a nitrogen booster too and that expired "tylenol" is cheaper than protein in the same manner as melamine and boosts nitrogen.

Watch the top bar to see if you have to download something to enable listening.
Click it to download the patch/software.

Then it started automatically for me.

The icon for the radio broadcast in on the right hand side of the page under the heading of "Woman Radio".

He said that Purina did not have the problems because they didn't make pet foods the same way.... help me here.. he said they "never" had the problem??

Houston Chronical huge test they had expertox to do on fish from restaurants (Tuna)... containing toxic amounts of arsenic & mercury.. Not because anybody put it there.. the planet more contaminated... and our need to consume is contaminating the planet.. releasing contaminants into the ocean and fish accumulate the poisons... I'm going to see if I can find the article from that...
