Hi Everyone,

We have cleared the final legal hurdle, (whew, what a pain), in posting
your stories. We have re-posted the page with the stories where the
families have given their permission.

Remember, if you are involved in one of the class-action lawsuits, you
may want to consult your attorney before posting your story.

In order for us to post your story, it needs to have the following
note attached:

"I hereby grant DefendOurPets.org permission to use the information
included in this story for any purposes that DefendOurPets.org may
find helpful in promoting the cause of pet food safety."

Send your stories with first name, last name, and hometown to:

story@defendourpets.org

The reason we have asked for the names and hometown is to
protect against false statements and to demonstrate the wide-
spread emotional and geographical nature of the tragedy.

Sorry about all the trouble, but it was necessary.

Hope this helps.

CONGRATULATIONS on your victory!  The stories need to be told without fear of reprisal!

Mike:

I think what you're doing is wonderful......many thanks for all the trouble you've gone to to get those stories out there......

The pet food companies may have the bucks & power to put their stupid/false studies out there about the 16, 27 or 200 pets that died & attempt to make it look like a very minor incident......we need to put a different spin on these stories as in the emotion that these families whose pets were either very sick or that died have gone through.....no matter how many were sickened or died, they are loved & a family was devastated by the loss & by the huge vet bills that most can ill afford.  This is the true tragedy.
