I can't believe we didn't think of this earlier.  Love it or hate it, the hosts of "The View" loudly debate so-called "Hot Topics" each day and get attention.  Shortly after the first recall, Rosie O'Donnell complained about all the media coverage 16 dead pets were getting, whereas the deaths of so many American soldiers were being practically ignored in the press.  Now that even the FDA has finally acknowledged that this problem is a whole lot bigger than "just" 16 dead pets, I think it's time for the hosts to raise awareness of this fiasco.

You can contact The View by going to this site:

http://abc.go.com/daytime/theview/index.html

Click on "ask the viewmaster" to leave suggestions for future topics. (They suggest sending a picture too. I'm making mine furry.)  Then you can click on "co-hosts" to find a link to email three of the four hosts. Comments and questions for Rosie O'Donnell can be left at her personal blog, www.rosie.com

I saw that Rosie is leaving the show - I don't know when.  But still, since the topic was mentioned, maybe they would be willing to do it again.  It's worth a try.

Anybody know if the other ladies on the show have pets?

Barbara Walters definitely has a dog. She's brought it on the show. I think Joy Behar does, but am not sure. No clue about the other two.

Tried to contact Joy and Barbara couple weeks ago. My messages wouldn't go thru. Don't know about Elizabeth but the other 3 all have dogs.  Good idea, Rollo. Good luck. Maybe there was a glitch in my software that wouldn't let me send my message to them.
