I signed up for the daily e-mail reminder at the animal rescue site over a year ago.
Across the top there are places to click for feeding hungry children, children's
literacy, rainforest, breast cancer research and mammogram funding, and of course
animal rescue and feeding.  It is a big site with stores for shopping fair trade global
causes.  I ordered some very unique gifts to give at Christmas last year and I was
pleased with the service and the fact that my purchases helped worthy causes.  Be
sure to enter your shopping trip thru the animal rescue page if you want your portion
to be applied to animal shelters.

Rom6 -- it's also my favorite site -- I click once a day for all the causes and have bought many items through their store.  I just bought a pair of man made boots (no animal product involved and you can trust them) and it meant 28 extra feedings for animals.  They have some wonderful gifts and terrific customer service.  (They are nice people working for a good cause!) Games That GiveTM

"Now you can play for the cause!

"More than 20 of the most popular "casual" games, all absolutely free, are now available here at The Animal Rescue Site. The more you play*, the more you can help shelter animals!

How does it work?

"Games that GiveTM are a simple, free, and fun way to help animals in need by playing some some of the most popular "casual games" of all time. The games contain sponsor advertising, and 70% of that advertising is donated to help shelter animals.

Everybody wins!

"The Animal Rescue Site's charity partners get funding to help animals in need, sponsors get good advertising, and you get to play fantastic classics like Solitaire, Gems, Snake, Memory, and more!"

Both on Facebook

http://apps.facebook.com/save-a-cat/

If you're crazy about cats and want to support animal rescue efforts by helping to keep real cats out of shelters and in good homes, now you can.

Simply browse our photos of real-life adoptable cat, and choose one to virtually "foster". Invite your friends to co-foster your cat, or send them a different cat to foster, and you'll draw much-needed attention to thousands of cats living in shelters and with rescue groups all across the country. The more you spread the word, the greater the chances these cats will find happy and loving homes.

Plus, by fostering cats and sending them to friends, you'll score points that go towards cups of food and help real cats in shelters! For every 2,500 points our users score, we donate the financial equivalent of a cup of food to RescueGroups.org, a non-profit organization that provides free and low-cost technology services to animal shelters and rescue groups across the country. The more points you earn, the more cats you help save!
