I would not want to post the communiques - although they said they are careful to keep details out of those since prev. updates were posted on the Internet, but it is important for people to note this lawsuit is VERY MUCH ALIVE, and despite frequent motions to dismiss - it ain't being dismissed.

Court records e.g., all motions are a matter of public record, (unless you are in a particularly red county of a state of the screaming, flashing kind, you won't get beaten and sent to jail for exercising a right to review court public records. )

They "wanted to assure" all that while the case seems to be moving slowly at this point, "litigation does not always move at lightening speed. ".

And that in my opinion is the name of the game - can you wait it out in memory of all the Fido's and Fluffy's that have passed or are leading diminished lives, and for all the current and future ones? I know I will be. It's a legal commitment on the lines of adopting a new pet a 3 m/o knowing they will be with you until 20 or 30 or 40. And you know what there are vets out there who know the score and are afraid to be whistleblowers.

PS Mr. Vet (not on Itchmo but likely lurking) just because your cats died too and you can move on doesn't mean the rest of us should roll over. I am sure that your industry made a LOT of money on the pet food scandal, so your personal misery (if any) is likely assuaged by a brand new car.

I believe there are several nationwide class actions going on. Which one are you referring to? Which lawfirm?
