Andrea,

Thank you for listing the flavors you've been feeding.

It's appreciated,
Somehow we have to "keep on keeping on"...

I think the flavor that was the problem was the Ocean Fish, which was recalled.  the Venison & Green Pea is supposed to be the dry only in cat food.  GOD, I hope so.  Just put mine back on that one because they won't eat the "natural" stuff and the NB tuna & shirmp is being tested now.  I took mine off of that one also, just yesterday.  WE can't win, can we?

The following were recalled because they DID contain melamine.
Venison and Brown Rice Dry Dog Formula
Venison and Brown Rice Canned Dog Food
Venison & Brown Rice Formula Dog Treats
Venison and Green Pea Dry Cat Formula

They recalled the following because they contained rice protein, although they didn't find melamine in them.
Chicken Formula Canned Dog Food
Lamb Formula Canned Dog Food
Beef Formula Canned Dog Food
Ocean Fish Formula Canned Cat Food

Another update about my Westie:

Nik has several infections most likely caused by compromised immune system. He is doing better on several meds as well as Pred ( which helps but is in low dose but still dont like using it ).. I spoke to Customer Service at NB today and he seemed surprised my dog was as ill as I said!  They wanted 'ball park figure' on medical care expenses which I dont know yet. Its not over!  Nik may well see a Neurologist Vet if his tremors dont improve.  Forms are coming in the mail though they did ask for his Primary Care Vet's address. Mor to come I m sure
