TWO examples of "real life feeding trials" in this thread - the ACS study and the EWG study.

EWG:  http://www.ewg.org/node/26296

ACS:   http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/es0708159 (there is a cached report somewhere that you don't have to pay for will keep looking for the archive)

Just came across this thread while looking for something else.  Has there been any update on the pet foods they were supposed to test/results?

Carol, I got the same e:mail.....Im kind of thinking whatever their plans on testing pet food has gone out with the dishwater.... unfortunately, it will be the last time I ever donate to EWG, when I originally donated and it was alot of money, it was with the understanding they were doing a series of pet food testing for different things and thats not what Ive seen has happened.  I am not going to donate further to an organization that tells you one thing and does another and especially with no explanation.  I have tried to contact them many times both by calling and e:mail, and they never responded.

Apparently, the results of the pet food testing was the Fluoride report on pet foods that they did and they didn't identify anything about brands.  The only really good thing is that they really ticked off the PFI with it Smiley .

I also got the email that "Eddie" & Pets for the Environment were "moving on".
