Romaine lettuce CDC Alert - E. Coli
« on: November 20, 2018, 10:43:29 PM »
CDC is advising that U.S. consumers not eat any romaine lettuce, and retailers and restaurants not serve or sell any, until we learn more about the outbreak. This investigation is ongoing and the advice will be updated as more information is available.

This includes all products with Romaine including bagged mixed salads.

I know this is from last year but it's odd that there have been several more issues with romaine. I never buy it anymore.

Ranger, thanks for bringing this up. There is indeed a new romaine recall going for romaine grown in Salinas dated Nov, and I did not know! Looks like there was a recall in late October 2019 too.  I think I ate one of those salads on the October recall list, but fortunately seem to have escaped the worst effects.
