Thanks for posting this, Spartycats. It really brings home the toll that poor manufacturing practices can take on whole families, in this case when salmonella contamination was involved.

I couldn't help noting that the parents in this case never got the recall info about the dog food. Sadly, that is all too often the case, since pet food recalls are seldom publicized in the media.

Thanks for sharing this, Spartycats.  These companies make me so angry.  They find every way possible to not get the word out on their recalls.  I so hope these people win their case!
