Title: Question about low carb / high protein cat food formulas
Post by: rbauer on September 21, 2009, 03:16:10 PM
Is anyone here feeding the Hill's M/D instead of Inova EVO or Wellness Core ?

It seems like the M/D nutrient profile is pretty similar to CORE and EVO, but M/D doesn't have fish (and it's associated pollutants) as a primary ingredient.

Recalls and previous problems with Hill's aside, what do you all think about M/D these days ?

I haven't been anywhere near Hills Science Diet anything since 2007, rbauer.
Hopefully, others have and can answer your question. Has there been
ingredient changes to your knowledge?

rbauer, I was just reading about m/d and they say its used for weight reduction and insulin control.....I dont think that's what Evo and Wellness Core do.... anyhow thought I would mention that in case you didnt know...but maybe you are searching for a lower calorie food?  Sorry I cant help much....
