Title: Adobe
Post by: JustMe on August 14, 2009, 04:15:05 PM
Anyone else unable to play some videos the last week or so?  I keep getting messages to update Adobe.  When I try to update, I get a network security warning popup.  I know they supposedly issued some security patches recently.

I haven't had viewing problems, but I do know that patches were run for Adobe Reader and Flash Player on our work computers this week.

I had trouble a couple of weeks ago before we got the new computer.  I ended up having to un-install the existing Adobe (get the un-install program for the Adobe website) and then installed the update.  Worked okay after that :-\  What a pain.  I don't know anything about the security warning, sorry. :(

Have had to update to Adobe 9.1 lately and Flashplayer 10-something to view videos, which I don't
do often because of dialup.

Also had to update to version 9.1 because I couldn't watch any videos either on here or other sites. And on youtube I receive a message that they will not support win98 anymore. Can't figure out what that has to do with seeing videos as long as your player is updated.
