I have a small turkey i'd say about 5 LBS that i want to cook for ARusty what is the best way to cook it for him? I didn't think in the over would be good. Anyone ever cook whole Turkey for cat? Please advise. Thank you  ;) amkm1

Do you have a slow cooker/crock pot big enough to fit the small turkey? That is the easiest way I know of. You put in the thawed turkey, add about half a cup of water, put on the cover, turn it on, and wait. It depends upon the cooker how long it will take, but most of them come with a booklet that would give you this info. I think it would take somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-5 hours on High or 8-10 on low.

You would also get a nice broth from this method that you could add to other food.

It's so little, you could just roast it like a chicken, if you don't have a big enough crock pot...

Thank you catbird & mikken I tried crock pot Turkey's to big so i'll have to use same method but just in oven. I went out for Thanksgiving so i made my Turkey today so im tired & Turky'd out :P Thanks again AMKM1
