LIfe never seems to get any easier, does it?

I had that happen when Beau was still a kitten.  I had received a toy as a gift that was red fur, that bobbled and remained upright when hit.  Next thing I know, there's red on the carpet, and there I am panicking!  and it occured to me, that it was a bit too...pickish...like candy, rather than like blood.   Tongue  And sure enough, I saw him with red fur sticking out of his mouth.

I'm glad the red spot was not another emergency, though sorry it worried you.

Merrihart, thank goodness you saw the red fur sticking out of his mouth,  Kind of funny when you think of it.  Kind of like he was sneaking it, but the red fur sticking out of his mouth betrayed him.   Cheesy  What! me,  no way mother!! Never!

I don't now how much of the feather got into  him, but i'm hoping what got in, came back out.

Well, Hamish spent the day in the vets, from 9:30 till 6:30 and HE DID NOT PEE!  and his bladder was never full enough for them to use the  needle either, so I picked him up with the granules and at some point I must put him in a pen over night and then hope I can get something that way for them.

At least I found something he wants to eat.  Whiskas pouches of Tuna Entree!!  He loves it.  And others do too.
The chicken pouches, no one recognizes as being food!!!  I will return that darned box.

He is getting really clingy lately, and so is Sweetie Pie.
I think i am going to have to take her to have blood work done again.  She does not look happy, and actually climbed up on my lap at the computer yesterday,  She NEVER does that, and she wants to sleep by my head, so something is up.

I'm sorry, I've lost track of what is wrong with Hamish, other than the vision problems.  He is having urinary problems, then?

Maybe Sweetie Pie is mourning.

They probably miss McTiggerty. Sad  I miss hearing about him.

I hope Hamish pees for you soon.  I swear, cats have a devious sense of humor when it comes to peeing for the doc.

Vet office should have given Hamish some fluids so he'd make urine unless there is a reason he cannot get fluids?  He should be able to find the food by smell, going back to your first posts.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.
