Sandi K,

Any news on Sophers' dental and bloodwork today?  (Sorry to start a new topic; I didn't know where to post to ask)

Awww, thanks so much for asking Spartycats.  Sophers dental went really good...all things considering.  Of course we couldnt feed her past 9pm last night and Sophs has some issues regarding empty food bowls so subsequently she woke me up at 2:30am wanting me to feed her and because I couldnt, we both stayed up all night....thanks to her.  And of course, right before we had to leave, she decided to have diarrhea in her litterbox....she hasnt had diarrhea issues for quite awhile..but I think it was from being upset that I wouldnt feed her.  Anyhow she came out of the gas they gave her very well and wasnt wobbly at all when we brought her home.  She was bright eyed and feisty.  The vet said they have a person that monitors the pets after their procedures once they are in their holding cage.  She said that everytime she would stick her head around the corner to check on Sophs, she would hiss and growl at her...so they knew she was doing just fine.   Grin  She was all hissy and growly at the check-out appointment too but once we got in the car she quieted right down and relaxed some.  They said her gums didnt hardly bleed and they were still pinkish red but not the bright red they have been in the past.  Why I dont know because I havent been keeping up with the gum/teefy cleaning like I should.  And her labwork came out great, even her creatinine that has run above normal was in normal range.  So all in all, we couldnt ask for more....errr well except for maybe wising she wouldnt be such a butt at the vet clinic but hey, she is Sophers afterall!   Cheesy

Thanks for letting us know!  I'm glad you both made it through.  Grin

That is really great news on her blood tests, and that her gums are improving.  I hope she's feeling well enough today to plot her revenge.  Wink

Yup, that says it all for Sophers, means she's doing great! Grin I'm glad to hear that it all went well and that the news is so encouraging about her gums and her labs.

And I too want to know, has she gotten revenge yet?  Shocked

Well today she is quite reserved, I think she is just tired from her ordeal.  Her attitude yesterday was thank goodness meowmie for bringing me home, I love you, let me rub up against your leg.  Today her attitude is why did you take me out there in the first place....Im gonna give you a little bite but not a big one because Im still thankful you brought me home.  Tomorrow Im guessing it will be full revenge and big bites....she needs time to rest up before the big onslaught.  Grin
