Holding both you and IQ in my heart, today and every day.  You are both wise, wise beings.  You will know what is best.  Loved the picture.

IQ is a beautiful girl.  I'm sure you are doing the right thing, I know how hard it is when they run from you because of medication.

Judy, I know you do, and it's impossible to describe how heartbreaking
it is. IQ cries out now every time I take her to the room where she gets
sub-Q fluids. I wish the monsters that did this had to hear her and could
see the look in her eyes.

But then there's those times when you hold her or brush her or hug her,
and with her great heart, she purrs and rubs you and blinks her eyes to
tell you it's alright. Then you know why you do it and couldn't just throw her away.

It is indeed a tough road to treat a sick kitty and fight for their health and those good, bright-eyed times; and so totally worth it, as you know. All the warmest wishes for you and IQ.

3 cats,

I have a favorite expression for the kitties who meow out various sounds.  I call it "kitty b*tchin". Wink

One of the things that I discovered, is that cats too, like humans have "issues".  Who better to express your issues to, in the form of kitty b*tchin, than the one who loves you the most.............

IQ is fully aware of how much you love her. She knows that you are going above and beyond to help her.
You said it yourself, the purrs, the rubs, the blinks are her absolute expressions of gratitude for all you do.

Hang in there.  You are both fighting a hard battle and we are all here with you in minds, spirit and many prayers to Saint Francis.

Ahh, Peg, the Lady Q's term would be "diva expressing displeasure," but either
way, you nailed it and made me laugh.

Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers, one and all. It means an
awful lot for all of us fighting this battle.

3cat it is heartbreaking but those purrs do make up for it.

All three of your kids are beautiful, sorry only two are with you in body.
