Sandi K- I think everyone else covered anything that could be causing it,just wanted to add I would definitely postpone the spay.Surgery with worms or any kind of bacterial infection is not a good idea. Good luck & keep us posted.

I don't really have anything to add as to what could be causing this; everyone else has it well covered. Regarding the amount to feed her: I've found that a lot of foods overestimate the recommended daily amount (at least for my cat). She used to eat California Natural dry and Wellness canned, and she got 1/4 cup of dry and half a 5.5oz can per day - this for a full-grown, 14-lb cat. So it's possible that the amount suggested on the package is more than your kitten needs.

Good luck, and hoping for better poops soon!
