Welcome back, OF!  Sounds like the petsitters were wonderful, just as we would guess from their qualifications.  Next time you won't worry at all.  (Though we always miss our pets when we are apart for more than 10 minutes or so.  Cheesy )

Welcome back OF and KD. Sounds like next time you take a vacation KD will be right at home with the sitters.

Thanks all.

KD could use some good thoughts again. It's become clear that her appetite has declined in the last several weeks. Periactin still works to pick it up, but I have to give it to her more frequently to keep her eating. And she had a bit of an upset stomach tonight, so she's not feeling too great at the moment.

I'm not panicking about this. Loss of appetite has always been her key symptom, and I know it's part of the normal progression of this disease. And I'm very encouraged that her spirits are still good and she seems generally happy and comfortable. But I'd rather not drag her back to the vet as long as the Periactin is still working. So if you have good thoughts to spare, please send some at KD and tell her she needs to eat.

KD, you have to eat to feel better, sweetie.  I will light a candle for you and your worried mama.

Good thoughts coming your way.  I hope KD's appetite increases soon.

(this may not be relevant, but my cats always seem to eat less this time of year.)
