Judy,
Positive energy, purrs, good thoughts and prayers coming for Socks and for you too.
The strength in the bond between the 2 of you is most admirable and inspiring.

Judy,
It is hard to believe that it has been a year!  I followed Socks' story very closely back then and admired you for your love and courage as you both fought through that terrible time.  No matter what the future may hold, you have had this year, plus.  Prayers for both of you, and a hope that you can post here in another year as well.   Kiss

Yikes I just realized I had posted here and forgot to come back and check for replies. Shocked

Thanks again everyone for remembering my little girl and the continued good wishes.  If I have any new news I will post.

Judy, I just wanted to let you know I've been thinking of Socks and hope she's feeling ok and that evil tumor doesn't grow back!

Guys I'm scared yesterday Socks was constatipated again she was straining and straining, oozing liquid poo.  I gave her laxatone and finally she got out two good size poops.  But I was watching her closely and I'm afraid she was stumbling on her left side.

Could someone please convince me I am wrong?  Please?

Was she stumbling just after the BM?  I've seen my arthritic cats do that when they are constipated, I think from standing in the same position for so long trying to poo.  Might have just temporarily lost her balance from straining so long.

I agree with JustMe, constipation and straining in the box could possibly "upset the apple cart" and cause stumbling. In fact, my vet says that cats frequently vomit after straining to poop, and I have noticed this happening with my own kitties. So it can throw things off in various ways.

She did throw up I forgot that part and she doesn't want to eat again (sigh) but I gave her a crushed 1/4 cyprehedine (sp) before I left this morning. Hope she ate after I left.

I'm sorry to hear she's had some constipation and thrown up.  Hope things get better soon!
