Oh dear, sorry about the pee! I'm glad to hear Miss Lily's check up went fine (except for the arthritis) and that she hasn't had any more coughing episodes.

Miss Lilly is still peeing, after 3 weeks of antibiotics.  She peed on my dirty clothes 2 nights ago.  Thankfully it was my dirty clothes.   Cheesy  Still, I'm wondering if she is in heat, with all this peeing that HAD stopped over the winter?  I never did get it confirmed that she is spayed.  She doesn't call, but I have read of some cats who don't call when in heat.  And Sir hates her.  Sad

Thanks for asking, NedF Smiley  Yes, she is still peeing, but I'm thinking it's not an infection.  I"m beginning to wonder if she really is in heat.   Huh

I just hate those car rides to and from the vet.  I'd been covering my carrier thinking it helped make them feel safer but this last time I went, it was so hot that I decided not to cover the carrier, and actually Fri-Pie did a lot better being able to see.  I can totally see how being in a carrier like that could make for car sickness!

Great that you found a good doctor!

Thank you, August and Catwoods!  She is a handful.  She has gone from a skinny, emaciated thing, to a little butterball!  I called her that the other night.  LOL

Miss Lilly is competing with Beau to see who can eat out of the most bowls at the same time.   Cheesy

Miss Lilly ate Christmas Weekend.  Oh Boy, did she eat!  What did she eat, you might ask?

She spilled 5 freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, which i found her gnawing on (she had help from a little mischievous friend).
I rescued the rest of the cookies, ate them and put the container on the counter (with lid on).  I found it on the floor, open and emptied, including the foil liner.  She ate pieces of foil.
I bought a pack of cork board hot pads.  She decided to see if they were edible and pieces of cork board are all over the place.

She began picking at her food, and had diarrhea.

So we went to the vet two days ago.  Fortunately, she is fine and whatever she digested has worked it's way out of her body. No temperature, no obstruction.

That sounds like an interesting Christmas! She sounds like Cosmo and Stormy combined! Her cute round face makes her look innocent though!  Cheesy

Glad her Christmas food adventures ended well. Her face is just adorable; she's filled out so much since the first pics.

With everything, I've been trying to keep my eye on Miss Lilly, but something is wrong.  She is getting more aggressive lately, attacking everyone in the kitchen, and if someone brushes by her, 9 out of 10 times she goes on the offensive.  i'm not sure what is up, if she is in pain?  I may try giving her some pain killer tonight, to see if it helps.  I'm afraid it'll just put her to sleep, pain or not, though.

She still sleeps on the pillow by my head, and she lets me pet her, although most of the time she bites my hand first, just to be sure.

I have taken to feeding her in the kitchen window to the living room, rather than on the floor.  That way, she can eat in peace, and the others aren't on guard and wolfing their food down.
