He was an absolute doll yesterday, despite them taking bone marrow from him.
Double cavity ultra sound
Many more x-rays
Blood and urine...........
4-7 days for the radiology interpretation

Ow, poor Gizmo! Bone marrow biopsies aren't pleasant for humans; I can't imagine they're much better for cats - though at least cats get the advantage of sedation.  Fingers crossed for some clear answers. |

And to IQn3cats, orangefuzzball,mgt,catbird,lesliek,catmom5 and ranger, many thanks from Gizmo and I and huge purrs from Gizmo. I have all of you in my prayers as well. My Monday night Novenas have more 4 leggeds than 2 leggeds in them
His test results are back as of this afternoon. The diagnosis of multiple myeloma has been confirmed by ultra sound, x-rays, and bone marrow. It is in very advanced stages, and there are many holes in his pelvis and his leg bones.
Have scheduled an appointment with an oncologist tomorrow, though there is really nothing to do. I know this is a foolish thing for me to do, put him back in a cat carrier and take him there. I don't know what else to do. My regular vet is away until Oct.22.
My heart is shattered.

Peg, Gizmo is so beautiful and he is such a brave boy to have endured all that he has. I am very sorry to hear about the test results. You are an excellent Mum. Many prayers being sent up for you both.
