Kaffe will be going in for a blood test and wellness check-up this Saturday.  He has not been quite himself of late and Meowmie is a mite worried.  We suspect early renal insufficiency, but that may not be the only thing going on - one never knows.  Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

He just likes to lay around like this:

Indoors:

In his outdoor enclosure:

Even the feather no longer interests him:

Oh, no!  He does look a little listless.  Kaffe is only middle-aged, right?

I will pray for him!  Lots of fixable problems can make you feel really blah.

Hopefully he's just chilling out from the Oregon summer.

I'll keep good vibes going your way for the checkup this weekend.

Breaks my heart, too. I hope that it's something that is minor and easily treatable. When I was at the cardiologists with Cassie yesterday, talked about her lessened activity, the vet did ask whether it might be the hot weather . . . so I'm hoping it's something simple.
I will light a candle for Kaffee and his very worried mama.

Sending good thoughts.

Are you having hot weather where you are? That could be dragging down Kaffe's energy levels.

Poor Kaffe!  He does look like he's not feeling really well - you can see it in is eyes.  Prayers to you & him that it turns out to be either just the heat, or something easy to treat.

Oh darn it, I was hoping Kaffe would have perked up by now.  Please give him a chin scritch from Sophers and I will light a candle.  Let us know the minute you can what you find out from the vet visit.   Kiss
