It does sound like maybe an infected bite also. Hope it clears up as well as Jack's did !

Those bellies spend a lot of time on the ground - pups have such little short legs. I guess it's not surprising that they get little irritations and infections. Glad Jack is all better, and hoping the same for Murphy!

Update on Murphy's lump....it disappeared without treatment....but he has "two little lost balls"..like Jack has one "lost" ..my vet saw him this week as his last vet died unexpectantly earlier last week....guess they have more in common than we thought!   But it will just make neutering more like a spay he said...so maybe with Jack too....but he said they still may "drop"...yikes,,glad i am a girl... Roll Eyes

I think I feel a poem coming on......"The Puppies That Lost Their Balls".  The good thing is if you talk about it around kids they will just think you are referring to dog toys..... Grin

All kidding aside, I am very glad it turned out OK, that was a scary one.  No more scares Jack, pretty please?

Sigh, Oh Carol... ours are higher and "drop" later in life Sad  Wink Seems girls are not  immune to it  Roll Eyes
