Yesterday I was driving by a park and saw a golden bounding along in the breeze and the sun, looking happy and free.  I too thought of Harry, running free again.

As I was going through my bookshelves looking for something completely different ("Chessie the Cat"), I pulled out a small children's book written by Marjorie Blain Parker, and beautifully illustrated with pastels. It is called "Jasper's Day", and it is about how Riley and his golden retriever and their family spend one difficult but sweet last day together.

At the end, Riley remembers all the photographs they have taken, and decides to create a memory book for Jasper.

"Jasper's Day" won the ASPCA Henry Bergh Children's Book Award.

I had to share this with all of you...the print may look familiar and the angel holding the baby golden was sent to me about two months ago---both by friends I met here...and the beer was brought over this past week by my nephew-he is brewing beer with others from his apartments and thought this was a "good brew"--we will never know as we will never open it!  Kiss

I hope it will bring a smile to you face--it brought tears and a smile to us!! Smiley

My nephew even included this on the edges of the lable--out of camera view--
"Harry's tip: This wheaty golden ale follows most brands of cat food well.

Enjoy chilled in your favorite bowl."

Carol, this is absolutely amazing!  Tell your nephew that he is very creative.  And thanks for sharing those other special "Harry treasures" too.

All the wonderful tributes to Harry are proof positive how very special he was and how many lives he touched.  Harry lives on in many minds and many hearts.
