Lorri, FIP is a terrible disease. Are You on the FIP yahoo groups ? What symptoms are your cats having? There are so many different ones. And what is their titer count? i'm so very sorry. Try all you can to boost their immune system.

Trudy, yes I belong to the FIP yahoo group. thanks. I have been through this before. Over the summer. I lost 5 cats this summer. Right now I have Curly confirmed FIP, belly full of fluid....Fo, anemic, hopefully fighting it off....many others exposed, obviously. I'm not looking for information, I unfortunately know pretty much all there is to know...how to manage it, what meds to throw at it...etc... just please pray that curly will be our only loss. I don't know if I can take losing another 5 cats. Though I started Curly on interferon, I don't think with the belly full of fluid she's got much chance. I wish there was something I could do to change that as she's just a baby, but I know there isn't short of a miracle.

Lorri, my thoughts are with you. I just lost my dear sweet Lady on 12/30 to FIP and I'd never even heard of it before. It is a horrible thing.

Thank you for your well wishes. Fo was quite ill over the weekend, but seems better today. We're just in a holding pattern to wait and see if he's just sick or is developing the FIP. Curly continues to decline sadly. I don't sleep well when I am worried, and I am WORRIED. So I uploaded some pictures of the rescue kittens. Some are when I first got them in july and some are more recent. While this rescue hasn't really gone well and certainly not as planned, I will say that this is a group of wonderful loving furbabies and I am not sorry I did this. Sad about the turn of events, but they have brought wonder to my life. This second bought of FIP is eating into my spay/neuter funds, so I'll be listing more items on ebay shortly to raise more kitten funds. Once I have some time. Right now I'm all busy with their care. http://s223.photobucket.com/albums/dd92/LorriMcats/

Oh my goodness ~ what a family you have there. I was sad to see Gumby's photo, poor wee one, and Curly and Fo who are struggling so. They are all so beautiful. It's harder to deal with their FIP after putting a face to it. I am still praying for a miracle. Regardless, even if some of their lives are cut way too short, at least they knew love and kindness. They wouldn't have had even that had you left them at the shelter. I know how hard this is for you. Just hang on and let your friends here (and on BF) know how we can help you help those precious cats. Blessings catmom5
