Marsha's cat Mindy had bloodwork done & Antech sent the results with the reference range for canines. Does anyone know where she can get the correct feline ranges ? Vet is closed & so is the lab.

I have IDEXX lab normals, would those help at all?

ETA:  Maybe there is a 24 clinic nearby that uses Antech who could help her.

Yes they would be closer than the Antech canine ones ! I found some of them on vetinfo .com,but they don't have the urea nitrogen, lipase or any of the "cytes" or "phils".
eta-only 1 local e vet & they said too busy to do it.

lesliek,

Is Marsha positive that these are even Mindy's labs?  The reason I ask is last year Antech mixed up the lab work on one of my cats who was in for routine checkup and baseline labs.  The next day, I got a call from my bewildered vet that my cat was in acute renal failure per the lab work, while clinically she was fine.  The lab work belonged to someone else's cat, but had my cat's name on it.  My vet retested and ran labs in-house and they were perfect.

Thanks everyone ! She isn't sure they are Mindy's #'s or who messed up,vets office or lab & can't find out until Monday. She was worried because several were high including creatinine & RBC's. Mindy went in because she had a scab on her lower abdomin that looked oozy & she was a little lethargic. When the vet removed the scab,it looked like there was a dead tick imbedded in it. Marsha found another bite looking spot since then. Mindy is indoor only & doesn't usually get Frontline, but we live in the woods & they or Casey [lab] could have brought 1 inside.I'll send her the link to this thread so she can print it out & compare, that way if they are Mindy's #'s she'll know if they really are high or not.

Marsha sends a big thank you ! Most of the results are within normal when compared to feline ranges. The few that aren't may just be from the infection. Bloodwork was done before antibiotics. She will probably have it redone just in case these aren't Mindy's results though. [Mindy will not be thrilled !]

I'm glad MCPeg had the values.  Who wants to wait and stew until Monday?  Sad   How frustrating, and who knows if the results are even Mindy's.  Hope everything is okay.
