My sweet boy is not eating much - doesn't even act hungry. This has been going on for 2 - 3 days. I know we are into bonus time, but I'm so not ready to let him go. Of course, if he's ready, I will. Please keep him in your prayers.

Thanks,
catmom5

Sending all sorts of good thoughts to you and Buffy. He's had some "down" periods before, as I remember; maybe this is just another one of those. I hope so.

I hope Buffy perks up, catmom.  Suppose you have tried the usual items to entice him? A little stage 1 baby food warmed just a bit? Chicken or turkey? Any tidbits of meat? Even deli meat. Rotisserie chicken. Tuna.

Oh I hope Buffy still has more time with you.  I'll send prayers that he can turn around and start eating again.

Thanks to all for your thoughts and support. I tried the Beyond canned (upon recommendation of Spartycats' cats) and he ate overnight. I also increased his prednisolone, so hopefully the combination will keep him eating more. This morning, he wasn't interested in the food, but fingers crossed the prednisolone will kick in and he'll be back for his breakfast. Right now he's sleeping on my bed (he gets it during the day and the girls get it during the night).

I hope the pred will get him to eat a bit more. Glad that he ate some over night.

I'm glad he ate some overnight, catmom5. I'm betting the prednisolone will help his appetite.
