Hi guys, I need your help.

I took Beau in to the vet for persistent diarrhea.  They did an in house fecal smear, negative.  Started him on metroanzidole, twice a day, and a probiotic.

He showed some improvement, and u switched him to Weruva lambergerini as he was refusing chicken.

I switched back to chicken two days ago, he got a little worse.

His breed is known for a chicken allergy, but the vet didn't seem to think so, based on the lack of itchy skin.

I want to switch him to a fish food with no chicken or tuna.  Seafood is out because if his crystals.

Got ant suggestions?

The only one I know of is Natural Balance Salmon and green pea.

Fish Broth, Salmon, Ground Peas, Pea Protein, Salmon Meal, Natural Flavor, Guar Gum, Vitamins (Choline Chloride, Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Niacin Supplement, d-Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin A Supplement, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex (source of vitamin K activity), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement), Minerals (Zinc Proteinate, Zinc Sulfate, Ferrous Sulfate, Iron Proteinate, Copper Sulfate, Copper Proteinate, Manganese Sulfate, Manganese Proteinate, Calcium Iodate, Sodium Selenite), Taurine, Potassium Chloride, Salmon Oil, Salt, Cranberries, Carrageenan, Flaxseed Meal, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Calcium Carbonate, Dicalcium Phosphate.

Smoggy is currently eating NB ocean fish formula but that does have chicken and tuna in it.

Stormy has been having diarrhea also (for the last several months). The only thing that stopped it was to switch her to dry only which I'm not too happy about. I tried adding a small amount of wet after about a month but the diarrhea returned. I hope you can figure out a solution for Beau!

Sorry to hear about that Merrihart.  I hope Beau feels better soon.  I guess none of the non-tuna seafood options at Weruva won't work?

I'm still looking, August, but if it doesn't have chicken, then I find tuna or pork in it.  The exception is the lambergerini, I think.  That's what I have right now.  But I only bought one case of it.

I was told with the crystals to avoid seafood.  I lump crab as sea food.
Weruva has two flavors that are only fish with no tuna.  Me luau, and truluxe basa.  So there are options.  Feeling a little more optimistic today.

No change with Beau on the fish food so far.   Undecided  no worse, but not really better.  He still managed to get it on my wall LOL

It's early days yet, I know, and it takes a while for the intestinal inflammation to recede.  I'm hopeful.  It wasn't liquid diarrhea.

Merrihart, we're getting lots of paws up for the new (to Japan) Ziwi Peak flavor Mackerel & Lamb.  Would that work?  I'm going to post a review from now, just so you know!

Leslie, yes, but when I checked the ingredients, I didn't add it to my list.  And now I can't remember why.  LOL

August, I am looking at Ziwi Peak, but it is so expensive!  I can get Feline's Pride for 2/3rds the price of a case of Ziwi Peak, per meal.

I've become kind of numb to the price since Japan's prices are so exorbitant.   Tongue

I see you decided to make the order and give it a try.  Boy, I've got major fingers crossed that it won't be a waste of your money.  (crosses all fingers)
