Dear All,

I read a news that a 5 month old stray dog was rescued by KaoShong Humane Society in Taiwan.  The poor little baby's mouth was maliciously cut off by an animal trap or people.  He now can't eat anything but only liquid food because he lose his whole mouth ( no teeth, no jaw, no nose...).

I want to adopt this poor dog, but I have to make sure I can find a vet who can help him with reconstruction surgery.

Does anyone of you know any Vet who can operate such reconstruction surgery for dogs?

Please let me know because the little puppy is dying, and he needs our help desperately.

Many thanks!

Best

Oh, that poor doggy. I'm sure that the 'day' shift people will have some thoughts for you when they wake up. I'm just a night owl tonight.

Tina- It's wonderful that you want to help. Maybe watered down baby food syringe fed until the surgery ? Hope you can find a vet who can help.

Tina -
I hope you can find help for the little puppy.  So sad!  It is very kind of you to want to adopt the poor little thing.  I'm sure you will take good care of him if he can be helped.  I think contacting the University mentioned in Klondike's post would be a good place to start.

Thank you guys for all your supports and encouragement.

I should post the pictures of the poor little poppy, but I couldn't do that because the pictures are too scary.     I can't stop crying every time when I saw his pictures.  He looks so innocent and  hopeless.  I don't know who did this to the poor puppy, and I just want to do my best to save him from the hell.

I'll contact UC DAVIS after the holiday, and hope we can find a solution to reconstruct his face in someway.  After all, he is only a 5-month old little boy....

Please let's pray for the doggy and wait for the miracle!

Tina

Dear All,

I've contacted Kendon Kuo from UC DAVIS today.  He was such an angel and provided me lots of precious information.  And he said he would contact their professors to see if they can help the little puppy.

Thank you Kendon, and thank all of you who pray and bless for the poor little puppy.

God bless you all!

Best

I'm sorry the little guy didn't make it, but glad that you were there with him at the end. And he is now healed and whole and living the life a puppy should live at the Rainbow Bridge.
