Wishing all who are Father's who read and post at Itchmo a very happy day. I know that there are many DH's here on the forum who do not post, but may read - a very happy Dad's Day to to all that fit into this category. I also know that there are many here whose Dads have passed on and are lonely today - to those I share your sad loss on this day.

In MN it  rained and stormed through the night (Sat) and on into the morning of Sunday. But as of 11 am the sun came out and looks to be a good afternoon. Hope many families get to BBQ today after-all  Cheesy .

To all who post and read here - Mom's, Dad's, and Kids (even us grown up ones) - What did you do that was fun, relaxing, or hard work (ugh) today?

What am I doing? I washed a load of laundry this morning and will be making tuna salad to take as lunches next week at work. I may even take a short nap.

I'll wish my DH a Happy Father's Day from you all! He's currently enjoying a beautiful, breezy day relaxing on our screen porch.

I have a rhubarb pie in the oven, which we'll eat later this evening as part of a Father's Day celebration meal.

(In addition to being Cat Daddy to our felines, my DH is dad to our two grown daughters, both of whom are here.)

Good post, Caylee Smiley  Enjoy your nap!

Kozy gave cozy slippers and a card to DH this morning.  We took a nice walk, and later had a bite to eat at a new restaurant nearby called Mod Market.  It was really good.  Now we're reading and just enjoying the day.

I would like a taste of that rhubarb pie, catbird.    Cheesy

Happy Father's Day ! We were busy all day with yard work , but I made homemade burgers for DH from filet mignon which I ground with bacon . He had homemade french fries & asparagus wrapped in prosciutto & cheese & daughter cooked for him . Now he is crawling around on the floor playing with Bruce . Oreo turned up his nose at them & went out to hunt voles .

Happy Father's Day!  It is now over here on the East coast, but I am late getting on-line because of our Father's Day celebration.  My son and daughter-in-law brought steamed crabs, salad, and corn, which we enjoyed on the patio under the gazebo.  It was a beautiful day - a welcome change from the rain we had all week prior!  DH was able to talk to daughter and granddaughter in Florida, who were enjoying Father's Day with my son-in-law at Disney World.  They live just an hour away from there, so it is a convenient fun place to go on special days. Earlier in the day, we went to the cemetery to visit our dads and our other son.  We know that they were all here with us in hearts.
