As you probably know, web portals such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. have web bots which crawl the pages of the internet.  They then archive these pages and this is what we view when we look at something through Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. cache.

Most websites that don't contain sensitive information give these bots permission to crawl their pages and cache this information.  These bots are not blocked from doing this at Forums.

If your profile e-mail is not blocked from public view, when one of these web bots crawls it, it will pick up your e-mail address and cache it.

Some of you might want to think about hiding your e-mail addresses from public view.
