Problem Receiving PM Notifications Via Yahoo Now

A Notification that I had received a personal message  at 10:10:03 AM  today went into my yahoo account with no problem.

But just an hour later at 11:03:48 AM there was no notification notice at my Yahoo account. Or for these  either 11:15:53 AM, 11:35:46 AM,
12:05:39 PM.

Can Admin explain why I suddenly stopped getting these notifications via Yahoo email when I made no changes to my account?

My ISP uses the Yahoo mail platform & I'm not getting notifications either.  I haven't made any changes to my account (except the pic of Hannah but that was long after I started having this problem).

One notification showed up about three days later.  I have to keep an eye on my PMs when I'm in the forums now because that's the only way I'll know if I get a msg.

I think this started after the last major problem they had here where they lost about a week's worth of stuff.....but I'm really not 100% sure about that.

For me, they stopped coming between 10am and 11am TODAY.

My notifications (both PM and thread notifications) stopped arriving around 11 a.m. EST this morning.  They just started again for new ones about an hour ago, but nothing in between.

Ok, I just checked my yahoo account and all four of the missing notifications had just come through.

I've been having this problem for a while.  I don't get a ton of PMs but the last one I got (a couple of days ago) I found here when I was scouting around......either later that day or the next, it finally showed up in my inbox.  Sometimes they never do.  I put Itchmo in my address book to be sure none of them were turned away as spam so it isn't that.  Plus, as I mentioned before, I do check my spam folder daily in case there is something that got in there by mistake.  Haven't found a PM in there yet.

So if any of you send me a PM & I don't answer right away, it's because I haven't come across it yet......duh.......

  I also had a problem with a PM earlier today.  However, I just received one that came through right away and also the other one was there.  So, I think it must have been a Yahoo glitch that now seems to be okay.

The notifications are coming into my inbox ok now.  It seemed to be just for a few days there when I had to come over to the forums to look & see if I had an PMs.

Whatever the problem was, it's been resolved.

At least for now......

Yesterday and today they have been slow in coming. I've been waiting for 2 hours to get a notification. One came almost right away, but the next one that was sent 1/2 hr later is the one that is being sooo pokey in coming.

I just came over here to see what's going on & I had a PM......just came from my inbox & it hadn't hit there yet.

I guess it's touch & go......sometimes you get them & sometimes you don't.  Best to check over here so you don't miss any......
