An old problem seems to be back. This is not really a complaint, but just information and a question as to whether others have experienced this.  When I log in, I am getting a page that says that my password is incorrect and when I type it again on this page, I log in okay.  The password is never incorrect, and this happens every time.  When I log off, I get a page saying that something about not finding the URL (can't remember the exact words now), and to try again.  When I log out again from this page, it works.  Both of these things were happening way back before we changed hosts and disappeared with the new host. However, they reappeared right after the correction of whatever the problem was that we had recently.  I can deal with it, since I dealt with it for a long time previously, but I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this happening.

I'm getting the same incorrect password at log-on. And there are times when I have the same problem logging out, not always, but usually when I have multiple windows open and
log out.

No problems at all. Use Firefox in case that makes any difference?

A slightly different problem and this is the second time I have seen it. I just logged in after being absent for over 24 hours. I have zero unread posts showing. I know there's been posting in all that time!

There have been some problems lately with unread posts and View Recent Posts not updating as they should.  We are not sure what is causing this.  At first I thought it might be a bandwidth issue, but it does not appear that we are over bandwidth allowed.  Thanks for letting us know that you had this issue, catwoods; we will see if there is anything we can do.

As to the login issue, there was never a "fix" for this in the past, so I doubt we can find one now.  What I have suggested in the past is to use the login box at the bottom of the main screen, which for some reason never had this issue.  (I hope it doesn't now!)  Either that, or bookmark the page that comes up when you click on the "login" blue tab near the top of the screen (under the "news") and use that one.  That is what I do.

Yes, I have encountered that a few times too. The amount of time between visits seems to affect it. If I've been in recently (couple hours), I can see new unread posts; if I've been away for awhile (ie, overnight), there are none listed. Not sure if that info helps or not.

It just said no new posts for me too. If you click on all unread posts they will come up. The times I had trouble logging in where all at the top of the page like it used to do. Its never done it to me at the bottom.

catbird best suggestion to log in at the main screen on the bottom of the page. I have always used that and never had a problem with seeing unread or new replies to your posts showing.

Thanks everyone, Shadowmice, my experience is similar to yours as it had indeed been awhile since I'd logged in. Leslie, I tried clicking on all unread posts but still didn't get them. Oh well, I have them now since it hasn't been that long since I was "in" today.
