Feral cats call the outdoors their home, all year round and in all weather conditions. While they are skilled at surviving harsh weather, and finding their own food and shelter, they can always use a helping hand during the winter months.

As temperatures drop, there are plenty of simple ways you can help the cats in your community stay even warmer and safer this winter

There is a good informative group Trap Neuter Release, my Town, Rehoboth Mass began a TNR two years ago, I also am volunteer animal shelter manager at age 71 I will never retire, anyway last year I had close to 20 kittens at the shelter , some fortunately were removed from feral moms at three weeks as the kittens were beginning to get fgeist, and some remained with mom, anyway the group only traps upon request and one must continue to maintain the colony thru bad weather and f with food.  We also received some nice adoptable cats one wonders how they wound up in the colunym before trapping all abutters are notified and here in Rehoboth it is not that easy as houses have large lots and there are many farms,

Thank you for helping the ferals.  It is a daunting task. We've been trying to keep up with just the ones that come in our yard.  Still haven't gotten the momma who has been around neighborhood for a few years having litters.  Yikes

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.
