Has anyone found any American-made dog collars?

I noticed that my dogs scratch their necks like crazy when their collars are on.  As soon as I remove them, they stop scratching.  They are nylon padded collars.  Made in Taiwan.

I've ordered collars from these 3 which have both regular (quick snap) and martingale collars.
www.shoredog.com (made in Georgia)
www.2houndsdesign.com (made in North Carolina)
www.majesticcollars.com (made by the owner, Anne)

www.k-9designs.com/collars_premier.htm  Premier brand nylon collars are the nicest nylon collar I've used. In martingale and 3/4" quick snap.  Good price.  Started by the owner in the US,  I assume they are still made here.

If you like martingales, there are a ton on Ebay that are home sewn in the US.

I've also gone on a made-in-USA search, since I've been aggravated by poor-quality made-in-China dog (and other) gear. It'd be fine if the products were OK, but they've gotten ever-shoddier - since U.S. companies pursue cheapest makers, and consumers now assume that it's normal to constantly replace things.
I've had nylon leashes fray beyond redemption in two months (weird, since my dog is an elderly mini, not a macho jock!). Mainstream stores are selling shoddy gear that once would've been found only in junk stores - like leashes made from flimsy no-ply nylon or cardboard-stiff cheap leather, haphazardly stitched harnesses and outerwear, badly fastened hardware, and dog beds with Mystery Stuffing.
So I've pursued made-in-USA gear, by companies that say upfront that they stand behind their product (even though some components might not be US-made).
But "made in USA" applies only to their self-made gear. If they sell other companies' gear as well: Unless they say otherwise, it's probably made in China.

Found a leather collar for my girl at Menards and cost was reasonable at $5.92. Also made in america and did not stink of chemicals.

My farm & feed store said that customers are asking for US-made leather collars & leashes for their pets, so they found a company that uses US-raised steers for its products.

Weaver Leather - based in the US and uses US steers for the leather and, I thought, solid brass findings on some of the products.  I do not know about the dyes.

I'll let my babes grow a bit more and fill out, and then decide.  My male looks great in cranberry, and my female tends to look sharp in a bright forest green or rust.  Decisions... decisions.  HTH someone.

If you ate today, thank a farmer, hopefully a small, local farmer.

The feed stores in my area carry US made leather collars too.  Don't have the brand unfortunately.  I just bought my little dogs black collar with silver studs from the specialty pet shop too & it was US.

There's also Bebop USA, all products are made in Gresham, Oregon, and some of the profits benefit
unwanted/abused animals:

They make great harnesses also, I've got two of them for my dog.

Justme

We have a few from this place, really strong collars

http://www.whitepineoutfitters.com/index.cfm

They are adjustable choke collars that don't strangle the dog if they get caught, and they can hold a 130# crazed dog trying to eat the meter reader.
