Tried a couple of cans and my dog did just fine. Little pricey at 3.00 a can.

Check out their website, you might change your mind.  I've seen the cat food and was impressed. I'm going to try the dog food as a treat item/topper for my dog.

jada- Apparently Thailand has been working on improving their food safety systems. Many websites now list their safety protocols as much better than ours.

Tried a can of "Amazon Chicken" as a kibble gravy/mix in.  Big shredded pieces of chicken and chunks of liver in gravy.  My dog loves food so it was no surprise she loved this too.  Licked the bowl shiny clean.  It's a little too expensive for me to feed it regularly to a big dog, but will make a nice treat once in a while.

I also picked up a can of the Kobe Beef to try.  The Kobe products are made and canned in the US, not Thailand.  Called the number on the can - the customer service prson couldn't tell me who cans it (proprietary - blah blah) but would say it was not canned by Evangers.  Does anybody know who does can it?

When I went to the feed store yesterday, there was a whole end shelf display filled with this food at 2 cans for $1 !!!  I was shocked at the price, wanted to buy all of it, but wasn't sure about it because of the Thailand connection.

I read the website today & it looks good, so may try to go back this week & buy as many cans as possible.  I forgot to ask, but they must have discontinued carrying it & are trying to get rid of it.  Super discount prices always scare me though!

I was also wondering about the Kobe line, unless they are using a bigger one like AN.  Doesn't Breeders Choice also do their own cans?  Maybe them?

tried a couple cans of the Kobe. My dog loved it but little too pricey at $3.00 a can for me. Will be more of a once in awhile treat as I only go by the store a couple times a year since it is a lil trip from my house.

petslave,
Run, don't walk and buy it all at 50 cents a can! Smiley  Can't find my receipt but I'm sure the 5.5 oz can was well over a dollar and the 13 oz can was just over $3.  On second thought, nah, you don't want that food.  Just BTW, where do you live?  What was the name of that feed store?  What time do they open?  Wink

I noticed this brand was on sale on one of the online ordering pet food sites.  Not sure if it's ok to post here.  I'm not affiliated with the site, just surfed into it today.

bought the Kobe beef and it seems fine, just too expensive for me to use beyond the occasional "Oops - I need a convenience food in a hurry!" mealtime.
