Ocean Blue and Wild & Natural
Rotate foods, 2 German Shepherds, 1 & 2-years-old. Lots of energy (young dogs).
Gobble down both, big stool volume, no loose stools.
Overall: 2 paws up

I switched my two shih tzus to Timberwolf (Dakota Bison) about a week ago. They love it.
I've noticed that their stools are firmer, especially Maya's (they were solid but soft and airy on her previous food).
No more goopy, watery eyes. No more chewing on paws. Fewer leaves and no grass eaten when we're outside.
I was surprised to see such big changes so quickly.

Dee is a rottie mix, he weighs 85 lbs and his home is in Massachusetts.
Timberwolf Ocean Blue: Bad breath gone, less shedding, no dermatitis dandruff, nails aren't chipping, more active, happier, eyes are not dripping and he once again has a beautiful smile!
I was using Timberwolf's only canned variety, kettle cooked pheasant & herbs formula, but had a bad experience with the smell of the food, so I discontinued using the canned variety and am waiting for a second response from Timberwolf regarding the putrid smell.
Sincerely, Donna

My Yorkie and Bichon love Ocean Blue and Wild & Natural. They think it's yummy. However, because of some of the reviews I have read, I am now feeding home cooked foods. To take on a road trip I would bring some of this along.

I'm feeding TO Wild & Natural dry to a 10 yr. old male boxer. Great energy, less stiffness from arthritis, soft & shiny coat, firm stools. (Note: I switched him from a 26% protein formula. Comments are changes I've noticed since the switch).

Used black forrest dry dog briefly. No problems noticed, but it was contaminated by a bag of Pur 1 w/excess vit e. Didn't buy more because I found out it was made at Chenango Valley which had recalls. We are in southern NJ & have 3 dogs all with apparent health problems from food.

I am using the TWO Ocean Blue. Some days I mix 1/2 of this with 1/2 of Orijen Senior. My dog seems to be doing great on the Ocean Blue . I also just bought the Wellness Core and will be mixing that as well with the Orijen and TWO Ocean Blue..
I like the fish protein of the Ocean Blue and also the 26% total protein, however I am worried about the Mercury content of the fish used. I also homecook a little with hard boiled eggs 2 times a week, and either chicken or hamburger 2 times a week also..
My dog also gets 2 cans of Evangers per week and Apple sauce and cottage cheese. The only grains he gets are from the Old Mother Hubbard mini biscuits that he's always had. I don't like the wheat flower, but he only gets 5 or 6 mini biscuits per day...

Coby and I are in Southern California. Coby is a 5 yr old 90lb husky/german shepherd. I switched him onto Timberwolf about 5 months ago. Before that, he was on Natural Balance Duck Potato which I was not too happy with. He now rotates between Black Forest Dry and Ocean Blue Dry. It is bit more costly but he is doing wonderfully on it. His skin and fur is nice and healthy and the best part is that he has stopped scratching himself and chewing at his paws. He has stopped eating grass and mud. His stools are nice and firm. He loves his food. I love it and so does he.

sharky couple wks ago bought 3 cans of Timberwolf Organics kettle cooked Pheasant & Herbs formula at 1.99 for 13.2 oz can. Will look for other flavors in another store closer to where I live. www.timberwolforganics.com 1-888-887-WOLF took that right off the can.

Some varieties w/ certain dates by Timberwolf Organics being pulled. I don't know how old this info is. Just ran across it today. http://timberwolforganics.com/News-and-EventsDakota Bison with 'best by date' of 12 Feb 2009 Ocean Blue with 'best by date' of 20 Feb 2009 Ocean Blue with best by date' of 8 March 2009 Also from Timberwolf News and Events on the above products "Initial testing has come back negative for problems and further testing is pending results." If this has been posted on another thread, management pls remove.

We have had our sheltie on TO dry since he was 4 months old. He is 1 year today. He is doing very well with this food! I rotate flavors. His coat is gorgeous, he's never had any ear problems, eye problems, skin problems, etc. Stool usually firm, only loosens when I slip 1-2TBS of cooked meat into his dinner. He eats it 2X per day. He is lean and fit, healthy and happy!
