Hello from Pennsylvania!  We've been feeding Orijen Adult to our 5 Pugs for about 6 weeks now.  They love the food, coats look great and feel like velvet!  Rudy, one of our senior guys, has finally stopped licking his paws.  Stool is easy to pick up, and all the kids have increased energy.  I am as pleased as I can be with this kibble so far.  The only drawback is having to order it and have it shipped.

My two shiba inu's in Toronto, Ontario have been eating Orijen for going on three months now. We use the Adult and the Senior varieties (one of the dogs is 10). They cheerfully scarf the kibble once their grain-free wet food or home-made meals are eaten. Their coats are silky and full, their eyes sparkle, and I am not seeing the usual issues with skin sensitivity, hot spots and weepy eyes that we had with grain-based food. For the first time in his four years, the younger dog has had a clean bill of health at his annual exam; the past two years, his kidney levels were marginally high. The 10-year-old also had a clean bill of health from the vet this month (July).

My two chis were put on this product a couple of months ago along with home cooking and supplements. Quite often they prefer this product to fresh sirloin chopped meat, porterhouse steak, chicken, organic vegies, etc. Go figure.

No one around me carries Orijen - so I found it at www.westernfeedonline.com - - super site - - FAST shipping, they shipped same day I ordered.

My female german shorthair (Resa) is 14 and pretty particular about her food - usually would leave a dish of food and nibble over the course of a couple of days - first day with Orijen, she smelled it, stuck her nose in the dish and didn't come out until the dish was empty - - she has been doing GREAT on Orijen (2 full months)

Oregon, a 21# dog.  Tried Orijen and first day took a few bites, walked away.  Now, 4 days and 4 opportunities later he shows much more enthusiasm for it.  Just dry, nothing added.  His main food is Canidae All Life Stages on top of home cooked meal.  Dog seems to like both equally now as far as dry kibble goes.  Picky eater.  Since Orijen makes its own kibble, I consider that a plus.  Will also try their new 6 Fish when this bag of Orijen is finished.  We like to do some food rotation, while keeping one as the primary.

I had my girls on an A+ rated dry dog food.  Ana Capri did well on it.  Her daughter, Ana Bella, not so well.  Ana Bella had very loose stools, flatulance, vomitting and bad breath.  I finally found Orijen Dog Food after trying many other high quality dog food.  Both do very well on Orijen Dog Food.  Their stools are firm, less smelly, the flatulance is gone and their breath smells fresh and clean.  They have a great energy levels and their coats are silky soft and gleaming.

Orijen has been awesome at our house ...I had both my bulldogs on a Raw feeding diet but with several times I had to leave I was unsure as I could trust someone else to thaw/feed correctly so I switched them over to the kibble.
Skin/coat is healthy, I have one sensitive to food allergies with no itching..Both boys keep a healthy weight(also difficult with the bully breed)...and they LOVE it..although they love all food!.
Also have our new kitty on it and she loves it.  She is a rescue and was a mess when we got her 2 months ago.  Shes gained 2LBS and her hair is coming in beautifully.
I would say A+ from our family.

On my fourth bag of Orijen. Coat is getting thicker and luxurious, eyes sparkle, normal poopies, no runnies, happy disposition, and eats the food when it is put down. One 1/2 meal of Orijen and one meal of home cooking a day and improvement shows from inside out.

I just started my 2 big dogs on the 6 Fish Orijen a week and a half ago and so far so good. They are allergic to a lot of foods, especially chicken, so it's good to find a dry food that works for them and that I feel OK feeding them.

Unfortunately the 6 Fish formula supply is very limited right now, and they didn't have any big bags of it at the store.  They did have the Acana Provincial formulas, also by Champion, and it looks like the fish formula in that one is comparable to the 6 Fish.  They have a lamb Acana too, so I may try that one too if the 6 Fish becomes unavailable. I feel lucky to have access to Acana because it sounds like the distribution in the US is very limited.

I have been feeding Orijen dog food to my 9 yr old German Shepard/service dog, for about 10 months now and I couldn't be more satisfied!! Onyx had a very sensitive stomach, and the food he was eating before I switched, which was a "supposed" good brand found only at pet stores, was causing diareaha for weeks! Nothing seemed to help. I switched to Orijen and within a week the problem went away, and since then his coat is shiney and he feels good! I was amazed at the ingredients put in dog food!!! Shocked  Orijen is a bit pricey, but my dog is worth it!!!

Feed it to the two pups for a number of months ... one had allergies to it ... Acana grain free worked for her for a bit , back to raw and homemade

The Acana lamb and fish worked great for my dogs, but I'm going to hold off for a while longer before buying it again.  I'm still waiting to hear more on the AU cat food recall.

I am trying my 3 month Australian Shepherd Puppy on Orijen for large breed puppies.  Chicken Soup for the Soul was giving him loose stools.  Hope I have better luck with Orijen.  I am talking about diarrhea type stools, not just loose stools.  I don't think very loose stools are good for man or dog.

Update on Jake and Orijen.  We have stopped buying the product until we've heard the rest of the AU story.  (How was the irradiated cat food disposed?  Is the problem w/ the cat kibble "just" irradiation?  Why were we told Champion did not know their dry cat food would be irradiated when clearly they did know and signed off on it? Can I trust this company?)  I know it may be a real leap to worry about Orijen kibble for dogs in USA when the problem was limited to cats in Australia, but I do want to have that warm and fuzzy feeling about the company behind any brand I feed our dog.  This is only my own personal reaction and not to be taken any other way.
