Never underestimate the power of crazy cat ladies!

« on: March 05, 2012, 06:07:23 PM »

If you have a bad back or bad knees, trouble bending over, or are in a wheelchair--or know a pet person with any of these problems, check out this site:

Their motto is "Helping People Help Their Pets--Unique Assistive Pet Care Tools."  From their "About" page:

"There are 60 million pet dogs and 70 million pet cats in the U.S.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, one in 5 of us has a disability that may limit our ability to physically care for our pet.

I am disabled. I have six of those 70 million cats, not counting the many lost cats we often foster until we find permanent homes for them..."

Bless these people for providing such a line of products!  I can see how these could save pets from being given up when a family member becomes disabled, or when an elderly family person begins to have trouble.

The problem with cats is that they get the exact same look on their face whether they see a moth or an axe-murderer--Paula Poundstone

Nice products. The company is right here in my home state and they state proudly "Made In America."

May your troubles be less,
Your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door

Thanks for posting this, catbird.  I'm sure there are a lot of people that could use these products.

That's really wonderful.

I've been finding it really great having litterboxes on a table - they're much easier to scoop, and I would recommend this for a person who has difficulty bending over or squatting down.

Great idea!  Now if they would just make a scooper that is about 10 feet long so you dont have to get near the box when there's smelly poo in it..... Cheesy
