My girl absolutely loves these toys and Petsmart no longer seems to carry them.    I'm looking everywhere to try to find more.

If you see this item on the web or in your local pet store please pick one or more up for me and I'll cover all related costs including your time and trouble.

Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Failing all else... maybe we can make one for your kitty if we knew the materials?  I dare sy there are some great crafts-people here on Itchmo!

Did a search for this toy and it seems it was exclusive to Petsmart and just doesn't exist out there. Unless someone has found it and is keeping it a secret  Wink

No, I never did find this one again, but thanks very much to everyone who helped look.   She still has two old ones but they are both falling apart now and really should be thrown out for her own safety.  It's a shame because at night time she likes to carry them around in her mouth and make soft crying noises.  I think maybe she misses the days when she had kittens and carried them around just like that.  If I leave the toys in the living room they'll be by my bed in the morning.  Very sweet.

Mine does that too with a fuzzy that's similar to yours only it doesn't have eyes and a nose. Maybe one like that would work too? I can get those at Pet Valu.

One of my cats does that with fuzzy toys, too, and she's never had a kitten in her life.  Maybe she just wishes she did.

Why not try eBay's Want It Now, where you post a "wanted" listing?

Someone might have some they're willing to sell.

Is it kind of a round longhair furball with eyes & nose? About how big?
I could probably make you some if I could see a better picture.  Smiley

rbauer, Take a look at these

http://www.go-cat.com/misc_general_items.html

The "Bat Arounds" are an absolute hit in this house and cats carry them around like they are carrying kittens.

Mary, thank you for your kind offer to help make one.   Lets try the little fur balls that Peg linked a try first and see what happens.  Maybe they will be a hit.

You know I was really surprised to learn that some of the other members' cats carry these particular types of toys around in their mouths like kittens and cry softly.   I thought that was unique to my girl.  Makes one wonder what they are thinking/feeling.

That is the one that my cats have, Spartycats.  I like the West Paw products too.
