Great site, Trudy, thanks so much for letting us know!  I've never seen such unusual scratching boxes and made in the USA.

Some of those toys look nice & tough, too.  Might even survive my dogs carrying them around & slobbering all over them.  I can't keep any cat toys around because of the dogs.

Yesterday I threw a hazelnut across the room for my really playful stripey boy & he loved it.  Today he was playing with it & I noticed it was just part of the shell--my schipperke discovered it & used his needle nose as a nutcracker on it to get the nut out.  I forgot how adept he is at that.

Somehow I don't think they feel deprived. Paper bags are the best toys!  Wink

OF you are soooo right.  There are 2 sound asleep right now each in a paper bag.  When the nap is over....the rustling will begin Grin

I found a great company that sells the best cat toys.  They are all handmade in the USA and my cats absolutely LOVE them.  The company is called PetCandy  www.petcandy.com.

www.westpawdesign.com has cat and dog toys made in Montana.

www.catteasersandmore.com has handmade toys that are made in Canada.  I got some great teasers for my Bengal kitten from them.

I can't remember if I posted this in a different thread before, but I got my sister's cats these mice for Christmas.

She recently told me they have played with them so much it's getting hard to read their names!
Everything on etsy is handmade.  I searched cat toys at etsy.com and also got some hand crocheted mice.
