4 cats; Wisconsin.  I have been feeding both Eagle Pack Adult Cat Formula (pink bag, for over 6 months) and Eagle Pack Holistic Select Chicken Meal and Rice (brown and yellow bag,for about 2 months), in rotation with other dry foods.  I have had no problems so far and my cats seem to be thriving.  I used the pink bag one as my only dry food for about 2 months after the recalls started, and noticed nice improvement in my cats' coats.  One cat prefers the pink bag kind over other dry foods.

2 Maine Coon boys from Canada.  Have been using the Holistic Select Chicken Meal and Rice for almost a year.  They boys are doing FANTASTIC on it.   Much better than when we used our other brand X.  They have wonder full soft coats and loads and loads of energy.  By far the best dry food they have eaten to date!!  They are free fed and are in tip top shape!!  Highly recommend this food!!

4 cats in Colorado.  Using the Chicken and Rice

All are doing pretty well, though the youngest has some smelly farts.  But it's an improvement over the diarrhea on the last food he was on.

I have stopped using this since the senior dog food by this company tested positive for APAP.  Too bad, because my cats did well on it.

We did you find the information on the dry dog food?  I have looked and cannot find anything.

Thanks for your help.  I did look on the Eagle Pack homepage...and they have addressed the concern.
I (like many others) feel that Eagle Pack does an excellent job on their food, and the tests they run.
I have had NO PROBLEMS at all feeding the Holistic Chicken Meal and Rice for about a year now.  The boys are in great shape and I still highly recommend this food and company.  Lots of private testing labs seem to find things other reliable testing facilities don't seem to find. I do not take this problem lightly, but I also feel people are out to do damage when there is no reason to.  Unless I find I have an issue with the food, or hear of some serious problems....I will continue to give this to my boys.  I have contacted the company with questions in the past, and they have always responded quickly and have been very helpful.  Hopefully people will do the research before believing everything they read.

For most of a year, I was feeding my cats Innova Reduced Fat, and mixing in Eagle Pack Holistic Select (usually the chicken), at about 2 to 1.  Then for some reason, I didn't buy the Eagle Pack for a while.  One of my cats who is prone to hairballs anyway got a really bad hairball, and I had to use the over the counter hairball stuff to get him over it.  I also noticed that their coats weren't as shiny as they used to be.

I decided to try the Eagle Pack Hairball Relief Formula, and it seems to have worked wonders.  In less than a week, I noticed their coats were much shinier, and they seemed to feel better.  More playful, more energy, happier.  Also Boris, the one prone to hairballs, also often scarfs and barfs his food.  It's been two weeks now, and he hasn't coughed once due to hairballs.  He also, for whatever reason, hasn't done the scarf and barf thing.

So far, both Boris and Penelope seem to be doing great on this food.  They also get some wet food each day, but that is the same as before.
