I saw Beau sit in front of Bella who was also sitting up, and Bella bit his ear 3 times before she walked away.  He did not react.

What exactly does this mean?  Obviously she isn't hurting him or he would cry out.

The Tinies do this a lot to each other - it looks to me that they want attention and want to play with the sibling who is attached to the ear they are biting.  They also do the playful biting on tails.   Cheesy

Sounds like she wants play & he is ignoring her. If it gets painful, he will run away or cry. Just make sure she doesn't push him too far with him being older & sick.

Haven't seen that before. Only thing around here was ear scratching which resulted in a minor injury for Mr. T courtesy of his sister, Mia.

My little babies, you'll always be in my heart. Mom will see you later. Look after each other, ok?

Sophie does it to Max and Stefie when they ignore her. It is usually no big deal. Seems to be just a way of asking for attention.

Ned,
I'm just curious enough to have to ask - Is that Smoggy or Stormy with the adorable kitten?

Yes, that's Deathclaw and Smoggy! He loved her so much, even as sick as he was. That was back when he had bleeding in his colon.

So sweet.  Does Smoggy miss her?

Yes he does. It's pretty obvious he wants a buddy to play with. Stormy has outgrown her kitten behavior and is now above that silly sort of thing!
